I have spent much of my career asking questions with no obvious answer.

I am Mike Rockwood, founder and CEO of Quantum Classroom. Across decades of leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, and teaching, I have worked with executives making consequential decisions, professionals confronting unfamiliar problems, and students learning how to make those judgments for the first time. Through it all, one question has remained remarkably persistent: why do some people consistently see more, question more, and make better decisions than others?

Then generative AI arrived — and that question became considerably more urgent. What began as professional curiosity quickly became something closer to an obsession. I began experimenting with AI daily: testing its limits, teaching with it, building AI-powered learning tools, and exploring how this technology changes not only what we can produce, but what happens to us in the process.

And I began noticing this paradox: AI can make our work dramatically better while quietly assuming more of the thinking that once helped us become better at the work. That observation led me to the question at the heart of Think With AI — what if AI's greatest opportunity isn't simply helping us produce better answers, but helping us become more capable thinkers?

I approach that question not as a technologist trying to predict the future, but as someone who has spent a lifetime making decisions, leading organizations, teaching students, and remaining relentlessly curious about how people think and grow. I am fascinated by what AI can do. But I am even more interested in what we can become by learning to use it well.
